So, what the heck is all this?

Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Hank Shiffman, and I fancy myself a photographer. Other parts of my site document my other interests, including travel and landscape photography. This one's about my studio and outdoor model work, which began in November, 2007 and has quickly taken over my life.

I'd describe myself as a semi-professional photographer. I get paid for some of my work, but it's still largely a labor of love and a grand education.
